Globally, there are two such stamps &#8211; Apostille and Legalization. Legalization is required if the country in which you plan to present your marriage certificate has not accepted the Hague Apostille Convention. Typically, a legalization stamp is placed by the party that issued the documents and a second stamp by the country recognizing the document. A number of countries also request a stamp from the embassy in Georgia.
