How is marriage registration in Georgia for foreigners?
Marriage registration in Georgia can take place in different formats, and the preparation time depends on this:
- No ceremony in the common room, 24 hours;
- With a state ceremony in a separate Wedding Hall, minimum 2 days;
- Outdoor ceremony anywhere in Georgia with an invited state registrar and, if desired, a host (we strongly recommend). The sooner the better, 2 days minimum.
What does a wedding ceremony in Georgia include?

- Solemn speech in Georgian from the state representative, our organizer will translate;
- Champagne for the couple;
