Description
A legalization stamp is a small sticker on a document that gives the marriage certificate the power of an international document. Globally, there are two such stamps – Apostille and Legalization. Legalization is required if the country in which you plan to present your marriage certificate has not accepted the Hague Apostille Convention. Typically, a legalization stamp is placed by the party that issued the documents and a second stamp by the country recognizing the document. A number of countries also request a stamp from the embassy in Georgia. We will be happy to prepare all the necessary stamps for you in 1-2 days and advise you on which stamp you will need.
